Yes, I am back! :-)
Why this long break?
After a vacation with my family, I immediately started to work on my new project. And this new project does me getting so excited ... that I postponed my daily email for a few days.
What is this new project all about?
It's an online project. It has to do with my email sent to you on June 14th, 2019.
The subject of the email was "Imagine You Are The Plant Manager, And You Need Commissioning Service Providers Report".
Do you remember?
So, this new...
Yesterday and today, I took my DJI Spark drone and flew it for about 1.5 hours after more than one year.
This reminded me of a service provider. I got to know about him one year ago as well.
His name is Christian.
Christian is doing inspections of confined spaces and hard-to-reach industrial areas with drones.
You can find out more about Christian here:
"UAVs provide the safest, fastest, and most cost-effective method of visual inspection in...
Today I want you to imagine the following scenario:
You are an EPC contractor or a plant manager who needs commissioning specialists for your project.
You would need, for example, a commissioning service provider who could perform steam blowing activities for your refinery in Texas.
Or you would need five instrumentation commissioning engineers for loop checks with experience in petrochemical projects in the Middle East.
If you would have a list with main categories you can filter from - what...
Yesterday I wrote to you in my daily email about the software tool I am using to build my online commissioning training platform.
I got a reply from a gentleman who thought that Kajabi is a construction management system.
No, this software is not a CCMS - completions & commissioning management system.
Kajabi is an all-in-one platform that makes it easy to create online courses, launch marketing campaigns, build landing pages, and design the perfect website.
With Kajabi, you can accomplish...
Back in 2014, I run two live classroom commissioning training. One in Dubai, UAE, and one in Panama City, Panama.
The duration of each commissioning training was five days. And it was open for participants from all over the world.
It was a great experience - for the participants and me. You can read testimonials here.
The advantages of face-to-face training amongst others are:
Yesterday a gentleman from Louisiana signed up to my daily email for commissioning service providers.
The company, the gentleman, works for is JM Test Systems.
Here is an excerpt from their about page:
"Our commitment to accuracy, reliability, quality and service is what will make JM Test Systems stand out for you. We are an ISO/IEC 17025 lab accredited by A2LA, providing NIST Traceable calibration and repair for your test equipment. JM Test Systems complies with ANSI/NCSL Z-540 and ISO...
Over the weekend, a few more commissioning service providers signed up for my daily email.
If I see different email addresses than @gmail or @hotmail, then I visit the website of these companies.
So on Saturday, I saw a domain name from an Australian consultancy. I opened the link and ... got presented with the warning message from my browser:
If you have a company website (I hope you have!?) then you should always make sure to use an SSL certificate.
1) Website using HTTPS...
Welcome to the very first of my daily emails for commissioning service providers.
It's great to have you aboard.
Like I wrote yesterday, the emails will be informative and entertaining. And they will be personal.
My daughter Margarete (9) had complete clarity yesterday.
She woke up with light stomachache in the morning.
I made a fennel anise kummel tea. And I gave Margarete some stomach drops.
She didn't feel much better after the drops. She eventually vomited.
But she had complete clarity:
